Back then, TV coverage was arranged well in advance, and there were NCAA rules as to which games could be televised.

yep, i think just ABC had coverage, and you knew preseason if you were going to be on TV that year, reg season.

it would depend on his call to medical exchange.

I was always under the impression that TC instinctively batted the ball down and realized his mistake immediately. Not sure where that came from since it was not on TV and it was so long ago, but that was one of the biggest games in Tiger history, so i remember.

I don't know why y'all shite all over the guy. It's a pretty good show for what it is.

he can sound quite condescending. but the main reason IMO is the same reason people began crapping on Jim Hawthorne--familiarity breeds contempt
vaguely. LOL Condon's whole deal was to make a segment of the population mad, usually by reading something that happened in the newspaper. guess it worked

before Moscona the radio sports news came from Richard Condon, John Fine and Buddy Songy. I'll take the roof commercials.

hink about how contested that series was in that era. My favorite of all time. It was very personal.

it was indeed personal. but two things can be true: the cigars were classless (now forgiven) and things worked out for the best for LSU.

It does take longer going to the bluffs at rush hour when I leave. But not on weekends or in the middle of the day. Fwiw

I commute every work day. It takes me 40 minutes from the bluffs to bocage. That’s going down freeland road. Not around to 965.

I live there but actually stopped playing before closure. I will say before the meta center was announced i heard from a member of the council that this could well happen. I know, i know...but you can dream.

it was a fun game to watch. both teams played well offensively. all the coaching change vitriol aside, of course.

we also have surveillance cameras all over campus and they are monitored before and during all services/events until the parking lot is clear
