I made an app in Claude that can take an input of a plant, age of plant, container, and soil type and inputted all my fruit trees for now which I have 12. I have it bring in the weather forecast for my zip code, compare it to last year, and then give me water and feeding recommendations daily. I wouldn’t say it’s useless. Clay is useless unless you can do something with it.

You want your legal rights dictated by a product created and operated out of Silicon Valley? The same industry that was censoring a complete side of the political aisle just a few years ago?

I can tell you AI in the CPA world is currently causing many more problems than solutions. Abd the cost is astronomical
Maybe it gets better but it’s a huge mess right now

I can't wait to go see an AI doctor, no wait time, 20% of the cost.

frick AI and its insufferable boosters. It's a technology that accelerates the demise of human reason, undermines intelligence, erodes independence, and threatens the financial security of American families. Limit it to the sciences and other fields where it serves humanity.

It’s not worthless. It won’t take my job. There will always be work for humans to do. You can’t automate something you haven’t already thrown somebody under the bus for.

My moronic lonely boss talks to it like it’s my newest coworker. Even about personal things in his life. It’s really weird.
I like to use it for research and cleaning up emails.

Mechanized farming, factories, and computers are all tools. They generally did not replace workers because the boss cannot tell the tools to perform a task. The boss tells the worker to perform the task, and the workers uses a tool to perform the task.
I mean, mechanized farming kinda impacted the whole slavery thing and reshaped the agricultural sector.

I've been engaged on two jobs this week where the clients sent me their attempt to summarize what they've hired me to do with AI. Both attempts were absolute garbage, and one client admitted it in our discussions. This came on the heels of a new client hiring me to clean up a job that another individual butchered with AI. For the time being, the poor application of AI is increasing my work load.
For a period of time, in many fields, AI will reflect the level of intelligence of the user. No idea on how things will play out in the long run.
