That 95 team beat a lot of tomato cans but they sure did whip up on that Gator team, and that's where they get their mystique from, let's be honest.

I believed, raided out or not, that 95 Nebraska was the best college team I ever saw till 19 LSU on the back end of the season.

Funny thing to me, I don't remember that 01 Miami team contemporarily being considered one of the GOATs. It wasn't till after players got to the NFL that they started to get the hype.

This is similar to what I experienced when I got to work. I slept in that morning and didn't turn the radio on way so I was given this same speech when I got to my office. We were all told that we could go home if we felt so.

They probably thought as I did that the towers were completely full when they collapsed.

I used to lived in Hawaii and almost froze to death camping on Haleakala. Another time I felt like I was going to freeze was when I got caught in a cold front on Oahu wearing a sarong. :lol:

I've read that certain helmets are rated high enough and don't need caps when worn at practice. I think it was in the NFL, however if this is true LSU should get those. Guardian caps look ridiculous and an overabundance of caution.

I'm more partial to the old Tiger but that's probably because it was on the helmets when I was younger. It's also not as symmetrical and looks meaner but that's me.

It's nuts because LSU DOESN'T retire numbers. Everything said about it including comparisons, unfairness and wrongs is irrelevant. A current administration can hold a number out of circulation but LSU has had a policy in place and DOESN'T permanently retire numbers anymore.
