re: Recliners

Bought a Barcalounger about 25 years ago. Owner of the furniture store (my neighbor, who had given me good advice on other furniture purchases) claimed that the company mades it name designing recliners for NFL linemen back in the day, and would last longer than any in the market.

Sounded like BS to me, but they had a full leather floor model that I liked, so i bought it. Sitting in it now. Made to last, obviously.

The catch is finding the company that makes good product today.
Requiem for a Dream.

My den tv is visible from the street.
Can't decide if I should post in this thread or the thread about the civil war in uganda.
We run noodles in a 900 acre lake. Pool noodles with weights and heavy line about 3 feet long. Drop them in the middle of the lake at night and pick them up in the morning.

Over the course of 25 plus years - the kids got into it and tracked the catch ratio for all of the different types of bait. Slim Jims are the absolute winner.
Truancy officers are God's soldiers in the good school districts.

Seriously.
Used to work with a ding-dong who would hit the stop button on the microwave with 1 second left. Every damn time. And he usually brought fish for lunch.

We surmised that he spent his coming of age time with his single mom and never chose to fight for his lunch money.
Spot on. My youngest kid ran through high school with all A's at a non-weighted GPA school. Played 2 sports from middle school through high school, tons of community service, school clubs and had a job for 5 years.

Believe it or not, a 4.0 doesn't compare to a 4.30. I tried to make her case with her university, and they responded with "we take that into consideration."

Absolute zero university scholarships for a kid in the top 2% of a 500 student graduating clas. She is a 4.0 student to this day at her university. Yay for hayseed high school and parents paying full tuition.

She'll have no problem proceeding to medical or PA school after she graduates, but the grading system is screwed.
If the 11 dumbasses are teenagers on spring break, your most pressing matter is figuring out how many cans of febreeze you need in each room.
"I will keep this brief...."

That pedophile needs to have his balls cut off just for the misconception that he put out a brief statement.

Then he can proceed to contemplate the unending supply of pineapples that have his a-hole's name on them in hell.

Models with the red, green and blue options are a good all-purpose headlamp. Good choice to keep in the truck or pack to save night vision or for blood trailing.

The older ones that I have are AA or AAA, and are lower lumens than the rechargeables that I keep in my bag and vehicles. They are a good backup if you carry a rechargeable lamp.

This is why I check the Food and Drink board everyday.

Bravo.
If Bruce Pearl shows up shirtless and painted up at the championship game, they can claim whatever the hell they want to.

But they'll still be auburn.
And if California slides into the ocean, like the mystics and statistics say it will....
The grift is the new American way. Unfortunately, it even works for non-Americans.
Auburn fumbles a coaching hire.

Again.
So Bruce Pearl schmeikeled his son, with no HC experience, to Auburn. Pearl's family got a bunch of money, Auburn got the worst coach in the league.

Couldn't be more on point for both sides.
Their alters do a better job of trolling.
