Honestly I'd think anybody who trains regularly in anything you listed will beat the fukk out of a regular dad bod Joe who doesn't do anything other than 12 oz michelobe curls every weekend

I can put any one of you baws down with one karate chop. Only you have to face away from me.

I have never shared this with anyone, but I have extensive training in boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jujutsu and Combat Sambo.
I have minimal training in Karate, but I am also a weapons specialist. I learned on the streets how to use nun chucks. In 47 states I am registered as a weapon.
36 countries will not allow me in. 7 countries consider it a national threat if I would enter into their country and I am an ally of 24 nations.

Whatever those Brazilians use. Seems like every time I watch UFC some Brazilian is kicking someone’s arse.

Most street fights turn into a wrestling match after the first punch is thrown. Of course if a legit boxer is throwing that first punch the fight is probably over. But the other rules-based martial artists are going to be toast the second a dude like Cale Sanderson pounces on them.

Muay Thai.
Muay Thai has a big advantage, because you can still frick people up bad in a clinch, plus you can fling them to the ground, then give them a shin to the chin when they try to get up.
Another big point, and I don't know if it's been mentioned yet or not, is the ability to take a punch. Staying calm when you get hit is an acquired skill, and Muay Thai has that in droves.

Would recommend a combination of muay thai and BJJ
Agree but finding a gym with all of this under one roof is gonna be tricky, and costly. The best bang for the buck strictly for self defense is finding a Helio Gracie background BJJ school. You will know you found one if it has his picture somewhere near the mat. I am under his son, Royler, and our #1 goal is self defense first and we drill real world applications before we do any technique or rolling. Yes, we strike but if you happen to find yourself against a pure boxer, you better try a take down quick because in my opinion, legit boxers are probably the best hands down at street fighting. I started boxing as a kid and did Golden Gloves into college. Got into BJJ back in '07 when I was 35. First BJJ gym had a legit MT guy as the owner. It intrigued me and I did about 3 years off and on training with that along with BJJ until we had some gym drama and the core BJJ guys left to form our own school. We had multiple MMA fighters (pros and ams) that also trained so there was no shortage of talent to test yourself against and damn we sparred hard. After getting decent at MT, I honestly will still give the edge to boxers in a street fight with their head movement, footwork, and countering but MT guys bring elbows, knees, and nasty arse kicks to the table so there is that. I know I am kinda leaving BJJ out and only propping up striking but seriously, if you do in fact end up on the ground, the only thing BJJ is going to be able to do is prep you to get you back to your feet hopefully quickly since you have no control over anybody else other than your single opponent at that point.

Well said.
I disagree a bit, though. I think MT guys can keep distance better by blasting people w/ teeps or crushing the other person's legs, plus the advantage when the inevitable clinch happens. Also, there's the advantage of the stance. A whole lot less likely you get taken down if you have a MT stance as opposed to a boxing stance.

Which ever is the one that’s all about kicking people in the testicles and punching larynxes and slapping ear holes and poking eyes and biting things.
