I think they recently outlawed coating your taped fists with glass shards like in Kickboxer 2

Not even kidding

Which ever is the one that’s all about kicking people in the testicles and punching larynxes and slapping ear holes and poking eyes and biting things.

Kajukenbo -maybe not biting, but the other ones yes. meant to take someone down fast

As far as pure striking goes, it's hard to beat Muay Thai. Burmese Muay Thai, or Lethwei, is much more intense. The art of 9 Limbs.

In addition to being allowed to strike with fists, elbows, knees, and feet..headbutting is also allowed.

No pads or gloves, only tape and gauze allowed.

No point system, Can only win by KO.

For sure. But it's impossible to find a reputable gym in the US for that variation. Hell, unless you're in NY, LA, or Las Vegas, good luck finding a real Muay Thai gym...

There are also lots of good Thailand based camps within Phuket and Bangkok where you can learn all of the basics/sparring within a few weeks and also have a good time. Cheap country, so lots of value to be had for an extended vacation.

Ninjitsu

AKA: American Taijutsu* to save from sounding silly...

It is HIGHLY effective, maybe not vs some other disciplines, it is a VERY effective martial art. Isshin Ryu can also be highly effective until the fight goes to the ground like many fights.

How many bar fights actually involve ground grappling?

Most fights I've seen or been in have ended up on the ground at some point. I've never seen two guys squared up trading punches for the duration. At some point one tackles the other.

Yeah, but did they outlaw gummy bears or sprinkles?
