I may have been hatched, if not I was born when mom and dad got together. Don't really know where that happened. After about 9 months I popped out but do not remember that either.

My cousin and I are the only two that still live here out of our generation - so only 20% for us.

Born in NY-lived in New Jersey, Louisiana, Montana, Colorado, Mississippi, Indiana, Japan and Guam. I've spent the majority of my life in Louisiana. Colorado would be next at 10 years.
I have traveled to I think 22 countries.
IT is true that averaged out Louisiana has a lower quality of life than many other places in the world-but we also have a very unique and dynamic culture-where we value joy, hospitality, food, music, the outdoors, etc. It makes sense that people want to live among WARM people-and that's what we are.
As I've gotten older, I value Louisiana much more-because of the people,.

I was born overseas. My social security number begins with a "5",and I live in Kentucky. My family lives here; I have good community, and it's easy to live here. I hate winter, but that's the only negative (and driving here sucks). I grew up out west though. California and Hawaii have the food and the weather, and I love the culture in Hawaii. But most of my family out there have died off or have moved.
I have visited 48 of the 50 states in my lifetime; I am not sure when I will visit the last two. I would bet that Lexington, KY is much lower than 63% because it's a very transient town.

I was born in Louisiana and lived there until shortly after my 21st birthday. My wife and I moved out of state and out of the south and have never even considered moving back.

Born in south Alabama, but have lived all over the state, as well as Georgia and Mississippi when I was younger. My parents moved around a good bit when I was a kid. I was a newborn when we moved to Georgia, then after a couple of years they moved back to Alabama. Then we moved within the state, then to Mississippi, then back to another part of Alabama. Then I went to Troy for college and ended up back in Birmingham.
