Really so if I watch someone bash your face in with a sledgehammer and do nothing to intervene I'm not complicit

If you are not bashing my head in, or encouraging said bashing how is it your fault.

This is also a vey hyperbolic situation and emotional tug of a situation you are positing. Most people have neither the stomach or the training to get involved in a situation like that.

Additionally to follow that thread, my first responsibility is to ensure I get home every evening and be able to continue to take care of my family and ensure no one else has to.

This also contains a fallacy. not helping is not the same as inflicting harm.

a math problem It’s costing the city more than the tax revenue it provides. I guess we could cut the police on the route by half.

I don’t think that’s strictly true, the economic impact of Mardi Gras pays for its self, it doesn’t pay for as many other things as it used to.

not an argument. It's a fact. Kiffin has never won a playoff game

Pete Golding won 2 playoff games that too is a fact. Want him as your coach.
I had an uncle that got bit by a copperhead on two separate occasions. The second time he got bit he saw the snake and it got him while he was keeping a kid away from a woodpile

Preparation has a big part to play in order to successfully meet the right place right time opportunity.
Do you talk to pitchers during a no-hitter?

No... "Your writing" means the word writing is a noun.

……….”right”.

Dude I’m making fun of you because you misspelled “write” as “right” and then called people functionally illiterate. That’s high comedy. But I love semantics…by chance are you building a church??? Then we could add rites to the equation
Functionally illiterate……

“Writing” vs “righting”

did you correct something or put pen to paper?

functionally illiterate

your righting it down

Hmmmm
That building was for sale for 250K a decade or so ago. As I understand it the asbestos removal price tag kills any rehab viability.
Saw ZZ Top open for Lynyrd Skynryd in the late 90s. I went being Luke warm on ZZ Top. I left loving them and was so disappointed by Skynryd I won’t even listen to their music anymore.

also hate how it killed a lot of people’s genuine interest in sports. I don’t need to bet money on a game to enjoy what I’m watching, but that’s my generations excuse for watching.

Fantasy teams are also responsible for this
Didn’t they already try Catfish Town in the 80s?

she was giving advice on how she raised kids to take responsibility of their own academics and how they handled act prep and considering one made a perfect score and the other a 35...maybe she is on to something

If you agree with the premise that wisdom is learning from the actions of others (and I do) you may be right.

have you seen the video on insta where the mom made a video with the kids about them going to vandy and WF? shite load of comments from people just hating on them and the mom without even knowing a damn thing

This says so much more about the mental health (or lack of) required to broadcast one’s life to strangers and the mental health (or lack of) to shite on the lives of strangers.

Does he have an iconic play to go along with the entire body of work?

Cannon had the Halloween night punt return.

Burrow Had 3rd and 17.

Only thing I can think of is the overtime TD run against Alabama.
I want to make fun of this because it is truly ridiculous. However I feel so bad for this kid, and family. Travel ball seems to have such misguided priorities, I worry about what happens to the kid when his playing days are over(Most likely years before they want it to be) and they have to then deal with their families world no longer revolving around them and the fallout of not being “special” in they way they were expected to be.
