This time period in my hometown/area to see what it looked like then, meet people I’ve heard about, experience what it’s like to have the world at war.

Just haven't found the right woman. Like to take a trip back to the late 1960's. Free lovein was a good time.

On the other hand Maybe not.

I’d like to sit in a British trench for like 5 minutes. I’d just like to get a peek at the misery those soldiers experienced. I’d probably get transplanted into the middle of a gas attack though

Hearing the testimonies from the Somme and Verdun, I feel like I don't need to see that.

Good choice. 1944 would be my preference though.

Depends, would I be intangible or invulnerable some kind of way, or just a regular shmo walking around open to injury, disease, etc.?

If the former, I think I'd go to maybe the point where the Russians launched the counterattack at Stalingrad. Or maybe to the Serengeti around 1920.

If I was vulnerable, probably Paris in the mid '20s or Haight-Ashberry in the '60's.

I would like to see a yankee game with murderers row, Belmont race track in 1973 to see secretariat win the triple crown, Madison square garden in 1971 Ali vs Frazier 1, and a week in any small town Americana in 1957, Hollywood in the late 40’s.
