Impressive nonetheless but the best thing George did was lend his name to a kitchen grill...
If not injured in 2020 and 2021 he is probably getting 300 wins...

has a son named Mystic.

He doesn't care. He only is paying child support because he has to, he wants nothing to do with kid which I told him is a mistake he might regret someday. He has only seen the boy twice in a court room...
For the record... he never asked, on Wednesday I asked him what he was going to bring to the potluck, he said he wanted to make his dip but didn't have money for the ingredients (we got payed that Friday)... the issue isn't the 20 dollars, it's that he used it to put gas in his car... I did ask him last Thursday how he thought he was going to get to work if he didn't have my money to pay for his gas and he said he was going to ask his sister. I have only seen him in passing at work since then because he is back working on the manufacturing side of the building... and no he doesn't seem bothered by what he did because he is still trying to make small talk and tell jokes but I have been pretty short with him so far. I think he just grew up in such a shite environment that he saw his "parents" do stuff like this and feels it is no big deal... lesson learned about his character.

F off, I served in the military for 4 years after High School... I make decent money and have a job that is good to me! I still haven't used my GI bill which can be passed on to my children. Get off your high horse, what is your profession? Born millionaire like most on here? Some of you posters on here are ridiculous!

I can't believe this is even a serious question. 20 bucks? You are presumably a grown arse adult dealing with someone much younger that apparently has a shitfest of a life anyway. And not only that you didn't even "loan" him the money, you gave it to him with the full expectation that it was gone from your pocket permanently.

Asking for it back because you didn't get a shitty tailgate dip is just mega strange.

Shut up douche, it was a legit question... like the ones that get asked on here hourly... You are "strange" if you ask me!
It is honestly not that hard. Most people are the own worst enemy! I have worked in this warehouse for 14 years after serving 4 years in the USAF...I look like I am poor, drive à shitty car but own my house and have over 250k in my 401k at 40 years old. Then I work with people that drive a brand new car, can barely pay rent and don't even know what a 401k is...
Seems like the consensus is to take L... which is how I was leaning, we will see how long this guy lasts but he has made a year and usually people they are gonna fire are fired before that...

Lol she is more messed up than him from what he says.... no job, section 8,welfare, DHS involved... She real named the son "Mystic" for God's sake.

Man this is on you for expecting it to be paid back.

Did you read? I never expected it paid back... Just pissed like was said earlier "he hustled me".
We have a cafeteria in our facility.

Workplace: Should I take the L?

This is long... DV or don't read if you do not want to...

I am a shift leader in a warehouse. We hired a 26 year old machine operator about a year ago... nice enough kid but always seemed like he was everyone's "bro", I kept my distance and always interacted with him in a professional manner. A couple months ago our boss/manager sends him to the warehouse side of operations for him to be cross trained, I am in charge of training him so naturally we shoot the shite and he tells me about his life... grew up in a shitty situation, has never filed his taxes... has had many jobs and then just found out he has a 5 year old son he never "acknowledged" or in his words "knew" about. The only way he found about his son is because the mom left the kid in the car at a wal-mart during the winter and it was court ordered he take a paternity test and sure enough he was the father... so now he just started getting dinged with 300$ child support payments every paycheck (twice a month) so he is really complaining about being broke all the time... mind you he has a 2022 car he bought last year that his younger sister co signed for and he gets door dash delivered to work almost every night... he has razzed me à few times about driving a shitty car and I just laugh it off and tell him it's nice not having a car payment.

HERE IS THE STORY: We had a 4th of July potluck last week for Thursday evening, I made Lil smokies and he said he wanted to make some buffalo chicken dip but was broke and did not have the stuff to make it but wanted to... so being nice I fronted him à 20 dollar bill and told him to make the dip and don't worry about paying me back... well he shows up Thursday afternoon with no dip or nothing and I confront him about it and he says he needed to put gas in his car and im like your serious dude but let it go for the time being... well we had our pot luck and he proceeded to pig out on everyone else's food like nothing even happened!!!

Would you ask for the money back and possibly make drama at work over 20 bucks or just let it go? I am not a manager but am one step below so I don't know how this could be thought of... Right now I am leaning towards letting it go but F being nice or lending somebody money ever again!
Me and Kurt are from the same city. It was 6 years in between time college to pro... his story is truly incredible. And he is probably one of the nicest guys in not only sports but in the world, he really is who he portrays himself as.
Albert Pujols went from Community College player to Rookie All-Star in like a year and a half time...

Honestly, you can't make up the evil shithole that state has became...
Ohio State needs to be higher, IMO they are just barely below Alabama as far as crazy a family member died because we lost a football game.

20 years ago...Nebraska would definitely be in this bracket, I guess losing like they have since then will destroy your fandom.
