When and where in the past 100 years would you like to travel back to and look around?

For a few days. Just to see what life was like.

I would like to witness the 1920’s. Probably later in the decade after people started ignoring prohibition to some extent

Bonus: WHERE would you go for those few days in that era?

The late 60s or mid 80s. 1920s were dry.

1700’s Nola. Legend has it that the debacuchery was even wilder back then.

I would love to visit: (in no order)

1. Woodstock
2. An Elvis show
3. Watch the 1969 moon landing live.
4. A 1950’s malt shop
5. Watch the Kennedy assasination (morbid I know)
6. New York City 1945 on the day WW2 ended.
7. Watch the titanic set sail.

Really, the 50's was one of the worst decades to live in the 20th century. If you were a white male in America, yeah it was great, but everywhere else was a massive clusterfrick where tens of millions died. Really the only good countries to live in at the time were the US, Canada, UK, France, and Australia. Everywhere else sucked. I mean the 10s, 30s, and 40s have it beat, but it's definitely not in the top half of the 20th century.

No doubt, sometime between 1938 and 1945; maybe New York or Washington, D.C. Second would be the first half of the 1950's in southern California. Third would be July 1969 around the first lunar landing; could be anywhere in the U.S.

I think Paris in the 1920s would be amazing.
