Live out in freakin country...but 30 mins from 1.3 million metro. It has grown from 700k in the 30 years i've been here.

I feel fortunate to not live in a high growth area. Minimal subdivision lot size out here is 10 acres.

650 people and I live 5 miles north of it. Closest “city” is 20 miles away with a population of 20K.

The town is 2 miles up the road and has 910 people. Nearest stop light is 8 miles away. Most of the population of 33,000 in our county is in an unincorporated city 20 miles away. There's been little growth since the 2008 crash, but that is changing. On the Florida "Forgotten Coast".
