Been busy with the business. Will try to get our annual baseball thread up sometime this weekend and get the basketball thread updated to February as well.

Highways are fine in Oklahoma. I believe they made the trip yesterday. Shoot around last night.

Interesting stat. Counting only SEC play, here is the % of total minutes played for each team to hold a lead:
70.6%- Texas A&M 16-32
64.2%- Auburn 29-20
62.7%- Florida 21-27
57.1%- Vanderbilt 21-27
52.8%- Georgia 26-23
52.6%- Arkansas 21-27
48.7%- Tennessee 27-14
41.7%- Texas 27-20
40.2%- Alabama 18-23
37.0%- Kentucky 19-28
31.5%- Missouri 23-26
Each teams SEC opponents record out to side

Texas A&M appears to be legit and should probably be taken serious.
Not taking anything away from what aTm has done record wise in SEC play, but they have played 6 of their 7 games against SEC teams that are a combined 9-26 in league play.
aTm has @ Georgia, @ Bama, Florida, Missouri, @ Vandy, @ Arkansas, and Kentucky remaining on the last half of schedule. I think during that stretch, we see how good aTm really is.
This stretch will give us a chance to possibly up our defensive stats, or show just how weak our defense really is...and given a good outcome, run through this stretch and be 9-2 in SEC play with Auburn, @ Bama, Missouri, aTm, @ Florida, Texas, and @ Missouri to play.

I would not go that far.
Most of the portal haul has been on the defensive side of the ball, including two safeties who are the 42nd and 63rd ranked safeties in the portal. Do need to add some depth there.
What makes you say that? Arkansas currently has the #9 portal class according to On3.
2025 Portal Ranking: #58
2024 Portal Ranking: #39

I think it’s kind of odd that Arky fans seem the most butthurt over basketball talk on this board. It’s almost as if 30 years of mediocrity is getting to yall.
You started a troll thread and get interaction with it. You get called out on your own team having a worse win pct. in SEC play and having 20+ losing seasons in the last 30+ years. You get mad at others making a comment and pointing that out. Then claim someone else is butthurt...
Makes sense.

Kind of an odd thread to start when OP's team has a worse conference winning percentage all time than LSU and also less historic prestige. I think Auburn has something like 20 or 21 losing seasons in conference play since the 1991-92 expansion.
But you do you.
