Digging change out of my dad’s chair, biking to town for a park rec baseball game, then hitting up the card shop for a pack of basketball cards with the loose change.

Then we’d stop at our buddy’s dad’s gas station for a slim jim and a Yoo-hoo on the ride home.

Legit Sandlot/Americana style.

Just turned 21. My girlfriend was pregnant and I had a year left at LSU. We were both scared shitless. Son was born in November, thanks to family help I finished LSU, married her in 1997. We now have 4 kids, and life is awesome.

I was 12, playing baseball, listening to grunge. And completely unaware of how awful Alabama football would be for the next 10 years.

I was just preoccupied with what junior high boys were preoccupied with in those days. Mostly junior high girls.

Just finishing up a 14 month project that paid fat cash. Moved back to BR and bought a house. Not quite a newlywed, but close.

My last year of college. I was eating a lot of psychedelics, smoking a ton of weed, and going to a lot of Phish shows.

It was amazing. I was 14, not a care in the world and I watched the US gymnastics team win gold for the first time ever. The Atlanta olympics always stand out for me when someone says 1996.

It was great. There was no social media bullshite. No soy boys. You had to go out and talk to women. No texting or emails. Sure you got shot down some but made the eventual secks that much sweeter. 2020 can eat a bag of dicks.

God that must have been great. I am constantly surrounded and attacked by soy boys. I am an adult.
