$2.5M term life. ~$100/month to give my wife financial freedom if something were to happen to me seems well worth it. Mulling over the idea of upping coverage to $5M.

$1M key man policies on me and a business partner. Also really need to up this to $5M.

Somewhat true. No inheritance tax, but there is an estate tax on estates valued over $15M, a problem 99% of people will never endure.

When the average divorce rate is effectively a coin flip (50%), and when there’s a massive wealth disparity between the two spouses, the wealthy spouse would be foolish not to put a marital agreement in place that separates assets and accounts.
