Would be funny but Starkville people have a pretty awful track record when it comes to accusing other SEC teams of doing stuff. The original post about this was from some whacko Starkville fan blogger as well.

Why would you be a fan of LK if he wasn't coaching your team? One of the most loathsome characters in SEC history.

Just like the rest of them

He's still completely clueless. Talks about how we just seemed to make a critical error on a critical down late and lost games. No realization that the defense was the only reason we were even still in those games for his offense to screw it up late after punting all day.
I think he has a decent aptitude and personality. I am tired of offensive guys that run a system. I wanted a defensive minded coach that would bring in different OCs every 2-3 years.

His veer and shoot isn't as bad as Freeze's RPO everything but we're going to go through all of the same things as we did with Gus re: the NFL and recruiting.

Just tired of this approach. Coaching hires are a crapshoot, even more so for a G5 coach, so he could be good. I'm wait and see.

Much respect but no one cares about some dumb shite you copy and pasted from a shitty AI. No offense, this is just the worst trend going right now.

MSU gets Durkin, they will contend for the playoff. Not saying they will get in, but they will contend.

Boy that’s a leap

Golesh was kinda funny saying he loved Auburn.

Was it before or after they received his banking info for direct deposits?

So crazy. Wonder if this has ever happened in CFB before?
Lane's problem is that wherever he goes, there he is.

“ We are going to start looking at the plan and figuring out the plan and figuring out how to implement the plan.” Bunch of coaching bullshite. He’s been hired 23 hours. He doesn’t know a fricking thing about Auburn yet. He’s talking too damn much saying too damn little.

Have you considered there's something wrong with you to be obnoxiously making this claim 24 hours after he was hired?

Congrats on an absolutely pathetic post. Best I’ve seen.

Cam is a beast and will return.

There's no talking to these people. He is the only offensive player any good team would want to buy, and he's not good enough for us to try and retain.

Why? I am little worried about the system but that's mainly for draftability of QB and WRs

Yeah. Sounds awfully familiar to roads we've been done recently. Done with offensive guys.
I wish we had hired the defensive guy.

We want Lane so bad we didn't even consider him when our head coaching position was open 2 years ago.

Yeah you thought you were too good for him and hired a coach who isn't as good.

Kiffin's hand gestures, his voice, and the way he talks are similar to Saban. Almost looks like he trying to imitate him when he talks to reporters.

Yeah he's a narcissistic psychopath. He started doing that shortly after being on Alabama's staff.
Anyone heard anything about Durkin? Or know where he is? Kinda figure he's gonna be Lane's first call for DC.
LSU is a better program historically, but I also don't really get it from his perspective. You can get better HS talent at LSU. But he seemingly hates recruiting HS. Several coaches have recruited HS better at OM than Lane did. So don't really understand how LSU is a draw in that way.

You have OM set up and rolling. Done it with multiple QBs. No reason why they wouldn't have been right back where there are now next year.

Gonna take at least 2 years to get LSU back together, and add in the multiple toxic messes they've had going on the last few years.

Just dunno. For a coach that wants to stack multiple NCs, think I might stick with the one on the doorstep.

Literally last night I said give him $6mm to stay.

After tonight, I’d tell him to fricking get bent. He’ll be great at OSU, but he’s not built to be ‘the’ guy. He needs a supporting cast bug time

No clue where you guys get this stuff from. He was an absolute stud, dog, nearly one man WR corps. All while catching balls from D2 QBs and a peewee football scheme.

We should pay him as much as we reasonably can to stay.
Not a stud by any stretch of the imagination but he was definitely better than Jackson Arnold.
