I could have bought a construction vest as well.
I do this for a living and it's been hard for me to keep my mouth shut on social media...and on TD for that matter.
I took my 8 yo twins and 18 year old daughter today. (All Minecraft players at some point) I was hoping to take a nap during the movie, but it was insane from start to finish. It was packed and there was clapping and chanting from the crowd…from kids to adults. I was cracking up. My kids really loved it and I laughed at quite a few scenes. Definitely can see the ties to Napoleon Dynamite. It was a fun time….glad we got to spend it with my kids seeing them so excited.

I finished it this morning. It really is eye opening to say the least.
Look up Chase Hughes on JRE. He starts off the podcast talking about it.

Truth. I haven’t watched an NFL game since they told me I was racist just for being who I am. The no call in the Saints / Rams game didn’t help either. It’s nice to have Sunday’s to do whatever I want.
Reminds me of us in Money Talk looking for Ancient Tiger after the rug got pulled out from us.

Does this mean it could also be smaller?

90s music sucked

 Just because Billy Joe is an idiot doesn't warrant idiotic statements.
Saw Green Day at Lollapalooza in 1994. I was jacked, because I had their first CD and loved them. They sucked so bad on stage, I never listened to them again. On the other hand, Beastie Boys and Smashing Pumpkins killed it, so there's that. Cool story, bro. Bye bye, Billie Joe. No one cares.

Curious though - for those who do buy fireworks, what is the average amount spent?

It’s pretty embarrassing, but around $200-$300. But, speaking for someone that has kids that are grown and out the house but still has 8 year old twins, I don’t mind spending money on things that they enjoy. We make it a big deal to go pick out what they want and then have a blast blowing them up. I always invite the neighbors and they enjoy it as well. Of course, they could chip in a few bucks if they wanted to, but that’s yet to happen.
My FIL has owned a bike shop in Houma since the 80’s. Sales of BMX bikes are down over 75% since about 10 years ago. Just look around neighborhoods and you don’t see many kids riding around in packs like we did in the 80’s. They are inside playing video games or the latest trend is electric bikes. I remember in the mid ‘90’s he would have a couple hundred BMX bikes on layaway….it was insane. That was back when Mongoose and some of the big names didn’t sell out to big box stores. Now even brands like Haro are selling direct to consumer, so there won’t be many mom and pop stores in the future.

You obviously know nothing about Christianity.
It’s become my annual tradition to read this thread while I’m frying turkeys.
Just posting to be on the first page of the last hurricane thread of the year.
Any of you Thibodaux baws go to El Paso Restaurant? Their chicken tenders are awesome. You can tell they are homemade. My boys get them and I always swipe at least one. CSB
