I lived in Boulder, Colorado. I was two years into my marriage, under-employed but maxing out every day with outdoors and fitness. 96 was a GREAT year. The 90's was the last great American decade-1950's-1990's.

My last year of college. I was eating a lot of psychedelics, smoking a ton of weed, and going to a lot of Phish shows.

Substitute Widespread Panic and about the same. Was living in Athens, and partying like it was my job. It was goddamned glorious.

I found $100 on the ground at the 1996 Olympics, we went to go watch Skip Bertman coach team USA at the old Fulton County Stadium.

I asked my mom if I should start looking around for who dropped it. She said sweet child, everyone will claim it. She said keep it and we will start you up a savings account. I eventually bought my own car when I was 15 years old.

Obviously I added to it as years went by, mowing yards and reffing soccer.

went here too to see my first live soccer game. Portugal V Argentina. I liked the Argentina flag so rooted for them that day.

1996 will forever remind me of the Olympics

I was working for an oil company in the Republic of Yemen

My trajectory in 1996 was moving towards retirement which I accomplished in 2002

I was 11 and had just recently learned how to jerk it. My trajectory wasn’t very impressive but I was improving.

Doing what I do and helping people.

It was a great year for me 'cause I was new to running, it might have saved my life.

Great year. College freshman. Sorority pussy and everything was new and exciting in life. I was still young enough to think I could do anything in the world. I could drink like a fish and even mix alcohol without getting sick. Pretty good music, and MTV was still playing only music videos. No one had a cellphone, and I vaguely even knew what email was.

The last days of the original America. I reminisce.

I was in Iowa (SW LA) in my second to last year overseeing a pesticide operation. Just before I returned and retired back to beautiful Oakdale.

I was Sr. Operator of Soybean and Cotton treatments.

I was still a repper skretcher and a fighting legend at the age of 56.

A college freshman coming to grips that I couldn’t hit a juco curve ball, trying to figure out how to navigate the worst roommate in history.
