I like to travel and frick as much as possible, and I try to keep my body in shape to support both for a long time.
My goal is to reach 50 states, 100 countries, and 7 continents.
Right now, I have 50 states, 61 countries, and 6 continents. If I stay vigorous enough to complete the 100/7 part, I think I will be satisfied on my death bed.

To help advance humanity as efficiently as possible while providing my family with as many advantages as possible and balancing that with my personal longevity.

To fill the earth and subdue it.
Too bad I suck at both.

This has inspired me before. Traveling can get my excitement level up. I combine with sports and am trying to get to all 30 MLB parks. I’m well over 30, but that includes old ones that have been demolished. I have this wall in my home with canvas pictures I have taken from behind the plate at every stadium. And yet there are times I’ll look at it and wonder what the hell it is all for

I don’t get too low, but I don’t get too high. I’ve been getting back to church, spending plenty of time outside. I can still get buried in a hobby. At the end of the day, I just tend to return to a level state. It’s similar to anhedonia I suppose, but I don’t feel miserable or upset.
You aren’t alone is this feeling of, “meh.”
I think is a societal thing right now.
People have become numb to everything, largely due to social media. Don’t let what’s going on in the world be your focus though.
If you aren’t born again, asks God to save you. Then, with the remaining time you have left on earth, do your best to serve him and lead a morally clean life.

Value my peace and those who contribute to it. Live modestly. Seek to remain in my own lane. Examine myself and allow others to be them

To find a Popeye's where the staff are attentive and courteous.

I wonder this every day. Don’t get me wrong, I’ve been blessed with a good income and healthy kids. But 98% of my life is either going to work or being a chauffeur for the kids activities every evening and weekend. There aren’t many things I actually enjoy for myself or belong to me. I know they’ll be grown and on their own eventually but I’ll also be older and maybe less capable than I am right now. I feel trying to find any type of balance is impossible.

Have a family and teach them "Right from Wrong", and prepare them for their future.

Wow that's an amazing life you sound to be very lucky to be able to experience all those things.
And yet you have started several threads about your depression perhaps maybe instead of looking at what you can do for yourself you might start to consider the things you can do for others
you might find happiness that way

At this point in my life my goal is to leave as much money to my daughter to help make her and her families life a little easier.

Not a complicated thing really.
I think this guy nailed.
"Time enjoyed is not time wasted."
Higher purpose is up to the individual, but there's no metric for what qualifies as high enough. The vast majority of us aren't going down in the history books as making a world changing contribution or a noteworthy action, and that's all right.
There are times a feel like I'm in a funk myself. The rat race and the everyday maintenance feel like a grind and that I don't have it all together. I tell myself that one day it will settle down enough for me to do this or that. Only problem with that is if I wait for some distant point in the future to enjoy my life, I may never get there.
So to answer your question, my wife and my kids are my main purpose. It's weird how all that worry stated above becomes a distant thought when one of my kids falls asleep on me. It's no small matter that I get to be a big part of their world right now. I enjoy side projects at the house where I can see the work of my hands that has solved a problem no matter how small. I enjoy catching up with friends that are still friends despite the years and distance between us. Watching hilarious snippets from stand up or youtube videos (that one with the wife making husband lunch and the comments put to autotune song) or watching favorite movies (90's full of classics) are a favorite past time.
Just keep breathing. Keep living. Find joy wherever you are.

"To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of the women."
Something along this great philosopher's stance.

Bring others into God's light and to be a good dad to my daughters and good husband to my wife. Raise my daughters to be Godly women.

What it should be, and only purpose is, to get my children into Heaven and serve God.
But instead I choose a lustful life of materials and useless doings. Even though my life is great. It isn't what it should be. I try and I fail.
