I like them but I prefer the Skecher slip in version. Look at their john deere collection of shoes and boots.

I have these Xtratuf Sport boots that I wear for practically everything I do outdoors in the colder months. They were a gift, and a good one.

Heel is sort of feminine looking. Need one that is plumb with the back and side of the boot.

Had mine for almost 20 years now. I brought the lined ones when we were stationed in upstate NY. Love them. Still use them now.

I thought they still claimed to make all of these in Maine.

I don't understand their business model but no complaints. Bought some in the early 90s. Still wear them to this day and they are practically in the same condition. Boots that last a lifetime

I had never heard of LL Bean or their boots until the early 90s when I moved from San Antonio to Macon Ga. Seemed every kid had a monogrammed LL bean book bag and those boots.

My jansport and redwings did not quite fit in.

I've had mine (unlined) for 25 years and wear them during the winter when it rains. They had a lifetime warranty until 2018. People were buying them at garage sales and thrift shops on the cheap, sent them to be repaired or replaced and then got a 'new' pair of shoes to wear or flipped them.

It seems this is when the quality dropped off.

I've had some for years and they're one of the most comfortable shoes I own.

I've got 3 pairs (different varieties) of bean boots/shoes. I love them all.

The ones I wear the most I keep by the backdoor and slip on to go work in the yard (not mow), put the garbage out, etc.

Have only heard good things about them, never owned a pair. Spent 41 years on concrete, Redwings saved my feet over those years.

Funny I just bought a new pair a couple weeks ago without having owned a pair in more than 30 years. I bought the 8" fleece lined in the color you pictured. Granted, I am up in Canada but have to say, so far I am loving them. More comfortable than I remember and just the right amount of insulation for what I needed. And for the tasteless dumbasses that say they are ugly, you probably hate a pair of Levis and a white button down too. These boots are timeless and LL Bean invented the look. Would recommend.

I had a pair for 25 years until the recently dry rotted, which was probably my fault.

I love them. Need to get a new pair.

Quality is still good and they are absolutely still made in Maine. LL Bean makes other shite overseas but Bean boots are still made and stiched in Brunswick.

When the soles wear out or if the stiching ever comes apart, you can send them back and for $50 they will restich AND resole them.

They are worth the money spent on them..

Takes a while to break in and run a little small.

They are pretty well made, but their sizing is very inaccurate. They run much larger than their numbers indicate. I would not buy them again on-line - would only get them in person so I could try them on. It is a pain to keep sending them back and forth to finally get a decent fit.
