Here's an honest answer:
We had a 4 door wrangler for 9 years, put 82k on it and I found it extremely reliable. Mostly city miles, No major issues, a couple traction control issues, and a leaky oil cooler(common)...easy fixes. But we take care of our vehicles.

It was a fun ride, great in October, November and April. Take the top off and leave it in the garage. The ride sucks so if commuting far, its a drag. My commute was 8 miles each way. It sucks on the interstate and on trips. I'd never take it cross country, but people do.

They leak, especially if you go aftermarket soft top, but its a jeep, so no biggie, they air out well, Hard tops generally don't leak but are a pain to remove top...Maybe the newer ones are better?

Don't do the ducks, that is in fact "gay". The jeep wave is a real thing and ridiculously annoying. I reached an age where I was like, what the hell am I driving, I look like an idiot.. :lol: Time to sell and they sell easy, That's the good news, Got 20K for it, Paid 31K 9-years prior new.

Buy it, its fun for a while, when you tire of it, they sell easy.
