re: CSP fined for not wearing a mask. - HoopyD on 9/22/20 at 4:43 pm
True sign its about virtue signaling vs science. Masks supposedly protect you from others. Payton already had COVID-19 and now has immunity. They still want him to wear a mask and willing to fine him 6 figures if he doesn't. ...

re: Brooks Kubena trying to throw O under the bus again - HoopyD on 9/15/20 at 12:58 pm
He's sorta burying the lead here. Turns out that healthy 18-22 yr olds (plus Von Rosenburg) are statistically not really impacted by the virus. An entire football team contracted the virus and lo and behold they are fine. Had those players been living in the public and not closely supervised, the...

Does the use of Black and White descriptors create more division? - HoopyD on 9/2/20 at 4:07 pm
Written media accounts now use "Black" or "White" when describing individuals. In my opinion, it makes it seem like we are on teams or something and creates further division. Why its use supposed to be a good thing? (honest question)...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)

Bubba Wallace, Althea Bernstein, Vaughxx Booker and the media - HoopyD on 8/24/20 at 2:18 pm
Which of these three incidents would pose the greatest threat to public safety and would warrant intense public scrutiny and police investigation? - a noose being found in the garage of a black professional race car driver - a biracial teen being called a racial slur and set on fire at a stoplight...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3)
re: Do we want to be Wisconsin’s adopted team? - HoopyD on 8/20/20 at 12:24 pm
Wisconsin fan base is basically a brother from another mother. Cultures are uniquely different but eerily the same. Should do a home and home every decade at least....

re: Nakamoto bringing down the Hammond PD Chief - HoopyD on 8/13/20 at 9:38 am
I saw the report last night and I thought the attorney handled the matter exceptionally well. Even though the video shows white officers hitting a black suspect, he never suggested the matter was racially motivated. He also mentioned how "backing the blue" sometimes means supporting police officer...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1)

I have a hard time believing that the guy who bungled Hurricane Matthew.. - HoopyD on 8/10/20 at 11:30 am
is going to save college football with his deft leadership skills. If we are waiting for Greg Sankey to be bold and forceful, we are going to be sorely disappointed. Hope I'm wrong....Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (7)
re: Worst TV theme song ever - HoopyD on 8/5/20 at 2:18 pm
Every time I hear the "I'll Be Gone in the Dark" theme song, I always wonder "am I watching the right show??" Speaks of hunchbacks and golden hills. Very strange [link=(https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JNATdMV6_WE)]LINK[/link]...

re: God Bless Herman Cain. He was a great man and should be remembered as such. - HoopyD on 7/31/20 at 9:14 am
The media's treatment of his death is downright shameful. No matter what you think of the guy's politics, he was an American success story. Born in the deep South, his mom worked as a cleaning lady and domestic worker and his dad worked as a janitor, barber and chauffeur to the President of Coco-C...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0)
So those Soleimani Media predictions didn’t really pan out - HoopyD on 7/8/20 at 7:00 pm

I needed this this weekend - Proud Americans - HoopyD on 7/6/20 at 3:07 pm
This segment aired on CBS Sunday Morning. Just a reminder that this is the greatest country on earth and people long for the privilege to be called "American". News stories of COVID-19 spikes and images of beaches - HoopyD on 7/1/20 at 10:15 am
Whenever the tv media does a story about coronavirus increases, they inevitably show people on a beach. Being outside with a constant sea breeze, isn't the beach one of the least likely places you could contract the virus?...Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (12)
