When I see guys (family included) not wearing socks with shoes I think "yeah that smell is going to suck"

Pour some arm and hammer in your shoes and shake around. Leave for 12-24 hours and pour out. I’ve used carpet deodorizer as well.

Cause he’s too lazy to take them off the dead body

Cedar shoe trees.
Cedar wicks away moisture to prevent mold and cracking, smooths out leather creases, and leaves a fresh scent…

I was my feet daily when I shower and always wear clean socks.
Seems to do the trick.

One of my kids ran cross country in high school and his shoes had the most God-awful smell I ever experienced.
We tried several things and the only thing that made a dent in the smell was Lumi Outdoors Natural Shoe Deodorizer Spray - Odor Eliminator. I got it from Amazon.

Despite the persistent rumors of my derrière being rotund… I still only have ONE butt.

I lived in Japan for six years. All shoes are removed before entering the house. Ours are sprayed and hung on shoe trees. Besides work, I officiate football and baseball. All those shoes come out of the equipment bag, get sprayed and hung to dry.
Inside the house, we have slippers for the house only.

I was my running shoes in the washing machine (no agitator) probably once a month. My golf shoes, I wash in our mop sink also about once a month. Then, I let them sun dry.
