So you don't think it's a problem that they employ 1.6 million people nationwide and the majority of those employees have to get government assistance? And you don't think it's somewhat of a conflict of interest that they pay as shitty as they do, schedule people below 30 or 40 hours so they're only part time and can't get benefits, and then lobby the government to maintain entitlements where they can profit off of them? Again, they receive 26 percent of all SNAP benefits in the US. Walmart is the largest private employer in the world. It's not troubling that a huge chunk of their revenue comes from the government via other peoples suffering? Walmart is a shite company.

No.
Not at all.
Because the previous employers for those 1.6M Americans paid less.
What is better?
More pay?
Or less?
Multiply that by 1.6M.
They are not slaves to walmart.
When they get a better offer, they leave.

By your definition, every employer who hires unskilled labor is evil.
Giving someone a job is the opposite of evil.
If you want to see evil, take those jobs away and see what happens to societies.

Of course you are an Illinois democrat.
I should have been able to tell by the nature of your idiotic take.

How is Riverside towing in Baton Rouge not at top of this list?

You are an idiot. Do you think anybody who purchased a new vehicle in the last 5 years can do more than basic maintenance on that car or truck? Not without a computer and access to GM or Ford or whatever brand software.
Im an idiot for wanting to fix my own equipment without needing a key code? Keep licking those boots, pussy. Some of us real men like to fix our own stuff.

Agree with you. People love to point out employment numbers.
But the bottom line question is whether the company has actually created new jobs or just found a means to make the same amount of jobs now pay less with less benefits.

Aldi.
Not a real grocery store. Every time I went there with a list of 12-15 things there was ALWAYS something they didnt have. The last time it was potatoes. Could have been russet, sweet or yukon gold, but they had no potatoes in the store.
What kind of grocery store doesnt have potatoes?
There is one 1/4 of a mile from my house. But now I drive either 3 miles to a neighborhood walmart or 4 miles to a publix. frick Aldi. I hope a sinkhole opens under the store and sucks their entire store into the middle of the earth.

Walmart has been destroying small, local retailers of all types for decades. But hey, you can save $0.79 on toilet paper so screw the family owned business.

The scummiest company in the health care industry was once Triad Hospital. It branched off HCA. Dealt with a lot of their CO's and never found a honest one. They got absorbed by NHC? and their CO's were scattered. If I ever deal with a hospital in the future I will always ask if their COs ever worked for Triad. If so, and the CO has any input into my job, I don't take it. Just a collection of dishonest liars.

AT&T
/thread.
I don't know about scummiest.
But my worst customer service experiences ever were with Bellsouth/ATT.
Multiple times.
Multiple departments.
Issues always got resolved (so I struggle with scummy).
But they would drag on for months and require so much follow up and escalation.
Landlines.
Internet.
Cell phone plans with rebates.
How could one company be so incompetent in so many ways?

I assume you are fairly proficient in the Russian language, getting a jump on the rest of us.
It was such a smooth slide to go from democracy to a kleptocracy, moving on to an autocracy should be a breeze.
