WalMart

look into how they destroy smaller, local grocers

I personally don't really care if they put anyone out of business if they're selling a better product or service. That's the free market. But the problem I have with Walmart is they're one of the biggest employers in the nation and their employees are one of the biggest groups of people that get welfare. Go to work at Walmart, get paid like shite, get food stamps, then go back to Walmart to spend them. A significant portion of their profits are just taxpayer money that got rerouted to them.

CNA Insurance company, if they hold your liability or damage policy, you don't really have insurance. There is no claim they cannot weasel out of.

John Deere is a big reason why agriculture in America is in such bad shape. They hire lobbyists to push back on Right to Repair bills so they can make it impossible to fix your tractor or heavy equipment. I always tell farmers and construction companies to avoid them if they ever want to be less stressed out and make a profit.

You are an idiot. Do you think anybody who purchased a new vehicle in the last 5 years can do more than basic maintenance on that car or truck? Not without a computer and access to GM or Ford or whatever brand software.

Bernhard Capital is pretty far up there considering JJ runs it.

I’ve heard Bernard was an a-hole, but man he seems to come out well building up companies and selling them.

Who is JJ?

Dickey’s BBQ- not only is their food crap but the family that owns them are criminals. They have screwed over100’s of franchisees… at one point they had over 500 restaurants and now estimates are less than 300…
Never eat there and please never do business with them.

Ashley furniture… their stuff is absolute garbage.

You do realize that the 1.6M people who work at WalMart get paid more there than any other place they could work?

They physically walked into Walmart to apply for the job knowing the starting pay was better than their previous job (if they had a previous job).

That is how employment works.
For some reason, people forget that the Walmart employees have personal agency.

2 of my kids worked at walmart.
Honestly. Management and the conditions sucked. But that is typical for employers who are offering more money to work there than the alternative. You get paid more to put up with bullshite.

The posts which complain about employers, remind me of one thing, I was blessed to be able to do well as self employed. I've seen that some people have to ability and self-discipline to pull it off, brilliant don't some don't.

The last corporate job I had, it was owned by two 50% partners, they split up the responsibilities, I advised them both. If difficult decision had to be made, I'd set up a plan to deal with it, advise the owner in charge, he would sometimes override me, mess ensued. Then my job turned into being a referee.

Make your own mark, invest in yourself.

Target.

Walmart with higher prices and better perception of their clientele. Even worse, literal groomers.

It's a regional issue, but Food City is a major grocery chain in East Tennessee. They bought out Bi-Lo, then bought out a series if local, family-owned and run grocery stores only to shut them down and leave food deserts. Drove all traffic to their farther away/hub locations.

Food quality is shite, store brands are shite, and prices are higher. I despise Food City.

i mean, tennessee can't even figure out how to properly kill someone.
