It was 55 degrees this morning. Two months ago I was lucky if the low got out of the 70’s.

The OP’s graph might partially explain why my small mortgage REIT investment has lost 40% of its stock price in the last 12 months.
Held that thing for 15 years with a dividend yield of around 10-12% Thought it might go up in a high interest rate environment but I never really understood those things, that’s why didn’t have much in it.

I smell pet odors on old people more than I do younger folks, especially cat smells.
They probably tend to let their pets lay on them and around them more and then you combine that with their reduced ability to clean themselves and their clothes as already mentioned.
Some are practically a walking litter box.

They passed a law this year to try to keep large companies from buying up residences as investments which they thought was driving up the price for individual ownership but it has several exceptions so I don’t know if it will truly have an impact on the supply side to bring prices down.

We played Tennessee down to the wire with a chance to win. I think we were ahead in the fourth quarter.
The team just one spot ahead of Tennessee scored 43 straight points on us. We didn’t belong on the same field with them.

I saw that video and glad we got the full story behind the hit. I would hate to think a high school football player, even in Portland, would hit another player for carrying the flag.
Should’ve been 15 yard penalty to start the game and the player should have been suspended for that game because it was blindside hit and not the normal scuffles that sometimes occur pregame with no suspensions.
Should also be an offsides penalty for the handful of usual suspects who feel moved to politicize everything.
Blah blah Portland. The guy carrying the flag was from Portland too.

But I agree with you that the prosperity gospel is certainly not gospel. It’s actually the exact opposite of the gospels.
See I’m not a Christian, or even a fake one like most republicans, so I’ve actually read a lot of the Bible, although not as much lately
Acts and maybe Romans (can’t remember) spends a lot of time teaching us the virtues of Communism

I read there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 2,000 different religions that have been identified throughout history.
Evidently most of them claiming that their’s is the true religion while the other 1,999 versions are abjectly false.
Actually any of them claiming to have supernatural aspects to them as a part of the belief system are objectively false.

I had this feeling, whether accurate or not, that I wasn’t able or capable of really soaking in all the precious moments with my children, so I’ve been more conscious of that with the grandchildren.
