Inspired by the DoorDash thread. I've had two instances (and shame on me for ordering DD, but both times I was hammered) in which the schmuck took my food, marked the order as complete, drove off, and no refund was given to me.

1. DoorDash
2. StubHub - anyone who buys or sells tickets with them deserves what they get. They will not honor their "fan guarantee."
3. Any of the Big Pharma conglomerates.
4. Wells Fargo
5. Amazon

The government.

HOA’s are the modern day pyramid scheme.

Home, auto, health insurance companies.

Termite contracts

Assholes that started the trend of selling people on ‘watering their foundation’

It's a regional issue, but Food City is a major grocery chain in East Tennessee. They bought out Bi-Lo, then bought out a series if local, family-owned and run grocery stores only to shut them down and leave food deserts. Drove all traffic to their farther away/hub locations.

Food quality is shite, store brands are shite, and prices are higher. I despise Food City.

What's wrong with Amazon? Need some dental floss and a concrete cutting hole saw bit? You order it from them and get it two days later along with a late order of Chomps Jalapeño beef sticks.

Food Shitty as we called it

The Publix on the UT campus opened my junior year so I was fortunate to have that as opposed to driving to the Kroger down Kingston Pike.

Yep, our term for it, too.

Glad I'm not alone. Some folks here love the place. I'll go out of my way to go to Publix or even WalMart.

FC is atrocious.

They’re currently trying to do that in Dutchtown. But it’s either a Walmart or another neighborhood.

Indoctrination of kids, outrageous prices, media deception. They hit the trifecta.

Oh and they’ve helped ruin CFB.

Just look at all of the companies who have fallen off a cliff because people are boycotting shitty service and people are sick of being ripped off

I tell ya what.. when/if Elon gets a starlink phone service to compete with verizon, etc - a few of the major phone companies will be going down as well

except, again, how they leverage their size and influence with the government to frick smaller companies

and how they constantly frick their 3rd party sellers

but sure
