re: Official AR-15 thread - Woodguy
I bought some Becks ammo for mine, they are loaded with 168 grain Hornady ballistic tips. I shot a deer at 100 yards with it this year with the Ruger and my Omega. I heard the bullet hit the deer. He only went 20 ft and fell over dead. I couldnt believe how quiet they are....

re: Recommendations for fingerprint safe for a pistol - Woodguy
I have a John Deere JDX-150 made by Liberty . It stores 15 fingerprints and has a key backup. Liberty also sells an optional 110 volt power cord for it. I scanned my thumb and index fingers on both hands multiple times so it will open no matter how finger is scanned. Eta: the optional 110 adaptor...

re: Woodworkers- question about bugs in reclaimed lumber - Woodguy
I’m not sure about killing the bees but i have seen a full set of high end cabinets built from carpenter bee infested wood. They sawed the boards in half and made the cabinet doors with the bookmatched inside faces turned out to show the tunnels. They were built by a master woodworker and were amazi...

re: Anyone know about old power tools? - Woodguy
Just loosen it up, it doesnt have to be removed, you may need to take it out and clean the collet up so the bits will slide in and out smoothly. Its probably got some dirt and or surface rust on it from sitting up so long....

re: Who makes a basic .22 scope for around $100? - Woodguy
Bsa sweet 22. 3x9x40. Comes with 3 different turrets for 36,38 and 40 grain bullets. Install whichever weight bullets you are goin to shoot, sight it in at 50 yards, After sighting in loosen allen screws on turret and turn it back to 50 yards. Then you simply dial it in to the different ranges targe...

re: Tell us about a time your kid embarassed you in public - Woodguy
We were at the beach and went out to eat and had just been seated at our table. Our waitress walked up to the table and introduced herself and my 3 year old daughter very cheerfully says to her,hey you look like a pig! It was an older black lady and she had somewhat of an upturned nose. We were abso...

re: Recommend me a good electric fryer - Woodguy
I highly recommend the bayou classic. The way their heating tube runs through the middle of the oil instead of the bottom allows the breading that falls off to settle at the bottom of the fryer and not get scorched and ruin your oil. If you use peanut oil you can empty the fryer with the drain valve...

re: Best .22 w/ suppressor setup? - Woodguy
That is incorrect in regard to to sparrow only being rated for .22. Maybe if you have a very early model but the current ones are rated for multiple calibers. The sparrow and the spectre are both rated for the same calibers but the sparrow is over a full decible quieter than the spectre for .22 long ...

re: Get a Vasectomy to avoid the baby trap! - Woodguy
I take Aleve when I feel it coming on (pain - feels like one is being shoved back into my stomach) and ice them. It's the side that ended up getting 5 shots. Another surgery could fix it, but as you can tell, I'm reluctant to do anything again that involves shots in my testicles.
...

I sell safes along with many other things in the business I am in. We deliver all of ours, I leave them on pallet, take pallet jack with me on a tilt trailer.
