If I follow, that legally kinda makes sense. The entitlement, however, and claims that black (not Black) people made native indians what they are...also makes sense lol.

Is there even a jurisdiction you can file suit in for this sort of thing? I thought the tribe had final say and its not a matter of law.

Did you read the OP?

Federal court.

The tribes are sovereign from the states, but not the federal government.

Except that there are these pesky things called "treaties" that were signed by our ancestors that can't simply be walked away from.

This is great, now if someone asks about an Indian, I will have to expand my clarifying question.

Dot, feather, or durag?

Either way, The US federal court does not care what a Tribal court rules or has ruled.
This lawsuit stands on its own without precedence from a prior court.

Think of "tribal court" as being similar to state court.

Federal court takes precedence over state court.

Native Americans and Europeans have closer genetics than Africans.

Native Americans came from present day Russia.

Not if the South had won... See folks, it wasn't all about slavery.

This is an interesting case really. A couple times I have seen the tribes declare that all must be solved through their courts if it concerns tribal issues and land.

Hold on now. If tribal membership expands as contemplated there may be a silver lining...
