Yep I member those days and haven’t seen it in 17 years. North of headquarters was the spot. The geese would also hit a spot hrg burned west of the ferry annually but that’s been over for years also.
Just a matter of time before the specks quit coming down past Morehouse parish.

2007 was my last hunt (E Unit) and it was walkable but you’ll know two days later. Worst is when the water gets blown out and you have to drag your pirogue.

Kemo Jr and his bud put in some scouting to find the hiding spot and got lucky with the Ask. 24 Sat & 32 this morning and he has 3 more days to work on them.

Over seed rye

Other than aesthetics, is over seeding St Aug for winter helpful? I had a spot in our backyard last year that was dirt and overseeded rye. Thinking about over seeding front and back for the look.

$46,500 all in is below any 21’-22’ bayboat on the market. Resale is overblown imo and I would bet this unit rides dry and is efficient at the fuel pump. The only caveat is you can sea trial it since no motor.
