It is somewhat interesting. My wife has a very close friend that lives in London. She claims to not have a clue about how England is portrayed in the US and is adamant that it’s nonsense and everything is fine. She’s not some flaming lib or anything either

It’s sad to say, but at this point Britain is beyond fixing via anything short of a violent civil war. And the Briths people lack the means to wage such a struggle. So, for all intents and purposes, Britain is lost. Any sane white person who wants a future for their kids and grandkids needs to get the hell out of there while they still can because it’s only going to get worse.

Once a tweet is marked sensitive content you either have to open it in x/Twitter app and acknowledge you understand warning or be logged in on browser and do the same.
If TD and your X profile are open on tabs that aren’t sandboxed to kept private from other open tabs the tweet may end up showing on TD after you agree to view it on X on other browser tab.
I do think some leftover Dem employees and/or leftists on X aggressively mark content they don’t like to make it more difficult to share on embeds or without an account, but this warning is probably justified. I can’t remember if they did the same pre-Musk with the George Floyd videos.

I've got a friend who's always been very open minded and leaning left. He's been stationed in Europe at least 3 times going back to 2000 and his wife is Dutch. He finished his military career a couple years ago stationed in the UK and says they won't even visit it has gotten so bad. The Dutch are notoriously socially liberal but they also appreciate their freedom. It's telling that she refuses to go back to UK.

The craziest thing is that even butter knives are regulated in the UK. A native English citizen can’t even carry a butter knife on his person yet Sikh are legally allowed to carry this:

The Sikh murderer’s brother is the one who called the cops saying he was attacked by a drunk white man.
I don’t blame the cops when they get on the scene for initially thinking to cuff the person they have been called about. There also isn’t a puddle or blood anywhere from where I can see
I think they truly thought he was drunk. I don’t think they were blue haired progressives going on scene to help kill whitey
Now, where I see major issue with the cops, is I have 1:40 seconds worth of video where nowak says he is stabbed and he is subdued and they still haven’t checked him. Then the video ends. If it goes much longer than that the cops absolutely have negligent liability here in my mind . The delayed checking has zero excuses.
And before it gets said, frick the immigrant problem in England they are morons for their laws

It’s only portrayed that way in the US by the far right, which is far more xenophobic than the average Brit. Or the average American for that matter.
Despite this terrible crime, London is one of the safest cities in the world for violent crime. The murder rate is about 1 murder per year for every 100,000 people. It has a lower murder rate than Mandeville, if that means anything.
