Ok, now how much further do you need to drive to find a hotel that isn't full? During our last big one, people were having to drive to San Antonio and Austin to find accomodation.
And there are chargers en route?

Range and charging times still need to get better before you see widescale adoption
Once a year maybe?

Won't ever buy a vehicle that uses a subscription model for any major feature like FSD

You and the 40,000 Indians with Teslas in Fort Bend county alone will be waiting in quite the line at the Bucee's in Luling.

Texas has chargers.
Hence why I mentioned the biggest travel complex between Houston and San Antonio. And also why I mentioned the scale of the demand problem from a single county in the Houston area.

And as I said, there are plenty of chargers to meet the current demand. As demand grows so will the model. It has.
Isolating hurricanes as a gotcha is just understandable anxiety.

I'm buying Tesla next for FSD.
This will likely be my kids first car. Don’t really like him having to drive on the interstate in rush hour traffic to get to school. Let the cars do it, expecting some more improvements over the next 2 years before he drives

I’ve been waiting for this for years. A Tesla will be my next car. I just need it to commute around town. Perfect use case.

Eh, you may still be waiting. The reviews out of Europe have been mixed.
Still improving though. And $1200 a year from what I hear.

Tesla is just rolling out in Europe.
You should schedule a test drive or ride with a friend that has HW4 FSD. It's life changing.

Why are the obvious limitations of EV’s instead portrayed as a problem with the consumer in the form of ‘anxiety’?
Not directed at you: One of my biggest issues with EV’s is how their proponents are unable to honestly admit the vehicles have limitations and instead try to make it sound like customers are the problem. It seems almost like a religious mantra.

I think people hammer the limitation of EV's, range, as a non starter when the issue is not a factor 99% of the time. It is focusing on the worst case scenario and making it the only reason. But dismissing the worst case the other way.
And even those times it is just the driver having little planning skills.
Even when range of an EV can stretch hundreds of miles the scenario presented is always just out of the range. Such as the San Antonio reference above.

What are the obvious limitation?

I guess I'm an EV Bro because I have one, but why should I care about the market % vs ICE?
I'm confident that Tesla is going to be around a long time. And that my car meets 99% of my driving needs. It's just an awesome car.

Gas cars have range issues too. You know if there is no power or they get bad gas. Or there is no gas.
But again, that just gets ignored.

Time to charge and the weight of the vehicles for starters.

Completely agree. Charger grid needs to be a bit more robust, but we’re getting real close to FSD electric car supremacy
