Steamboat is great for all of this. Easy shuttle service that will take you from the condos near the lifts to town.
Art imitates life and too often when we think it’s just a movie, there is likely a time where the actions truly happened. This is sick but I will not be surprised if true.

This would bring in the money, but probably not it

re: The $20 YouTube TV credit

Well, I paused the membership and am about ready to just cancel it. I don’t care about YouTube or Disney right now and since LSU sucks, I can find other things to occupy my time. I will probably go back to a service in the new year but I am going to leave them all for the next few months. Will they notice my single drop, probably not but hopefully I am one of thousands of others who are doing the same.
I just don’t see where the money is coming from. We had a budget surplus a few months ago, but I don’t think we have had a surplus since. Any tariff money needs to go to getting us to a surplus and paying down the national debt. I believe the current national debt as a percent of the gdp is close to what we had in WW2, that needs to be closer to 30-35%.

I heard the same about the heavy check, and I also heard that that particular flight was delayed due to maintenance on that particular engine, too

I do not know if it was that engine, but I also heard the flight was delayed ~3 hrs due to engine issues prior to attempting to take off. I don’t know how much pressure they put on the ground crew and flight crew to take off rather than ground the flight for extended maintenance, but people need to lose jobs for this one.
I hate having to go to steaming services to watch games. The multi view function is great from YouTube to alleviate having to flip channels during breaks and halftime, but I still switch. I also rarely sit at watch multiple games on a Saturday as there is just too much other stuff to do, and if espn tries to move everything to their service, it will suck but I may not be watching much more college football. This could be a huge gamble for Disney, but they are locked in to huge tv contracts that may blow up in their face.

They rushed hm and he couldn’t dance around and get the throw to the end zone. More teams need to do that rather than just rush 3

Man, I have not heard Savage in years

every dime I put into it with interest.

That doesn’t even begin to cover what I would be owed with the loss of potential gains I could have had. How about they give me what I put in, plus the what I could have had based the average gains of my personal investments over that time.
I agree, but to counter there was only 1 out and he couldn’t run on first contact if it was a line drive that was caught to avoid a potential double play.

Otherwise, yea a more typical lead rather than hedging towards 3rd base and he is safe.
I blame Starbucks - that shite looks disgusting

This is the covid correction.

I heard this argument yesterday on CNBC. Basically, all these companies wanted to horde employees during COVID to not lose them, but as time went on they have just become bloated departments with a lot of excess. My company just went through a 20% cut and I can attest, we had a ton of excess.

Oil and gas and a few other companies started this last year, I think as they saw the wars ending and oil prices about to come down. Now that the dam is broken, these other companies have to follow suit or they will not be competitive carrying excess. They need to cut costs. It absolutely sucks for many who are let go, but let’s not kid ourselves - corporate layoffs are the ugly side of how business grow and stay competitive.

Leaning atlanta right now. But also toying with the bengals over the jets
Today I let Sloan and Brad Davis go, and we are bringing in Sam Pittman as a consultant for the rest of the season. After the season, I will hang it up and let LSU go in a different direction.

This is 100% coaching and running a program problem. Either you have accountability and players are prepared or you don’t. It is easy to see that he does not have either the team prepared to play together and well. That is on the guy who wants control and no questions asked.

It’s sad, I come here to get away from the game thread. Less likely to raise my blood pressure as high
