How would all of this affect DWI arrests?

I would assume they would go way down as well as the erratic driving behavior would be eliminated. I guess checkpoints would still nab some.

LEO have arrested people passed out in the backseat of their cars with keys in the trunk (I know it's a bit of an urban legend, but the point remains.) The existing laws in most states give plenty of leeway to prosecute, and dance moms love nothing more than increased DUI enforcement under any pretext, until they get popped in the elementary school pick up line for too many mimosas.

I think it will have zero impact on DUI, because the driver retains ultimate responsibility of the vehicle (like cloud security implementations where the consumer just assumes that because Azure is compliant with XYZ, their application is.)

For the previous question, I don't trust anyone. I remember "humans" sending out, I think water bills, in S LA, to shotgun houses for $30k, etc. in the early 2000s. But if AWS says it's so smart, as an example, why wasn't there a filter to flag bills that had increases of more than 200% month over month for manual review?

It's something to think about for all the companies that talk about "automated compliance" being fixed by AI at less cost. You can't outsource liability, but nearly every company thinks that's exactly what they're doing.

I don't think it's very nice to deprive all of those ambulance chasers of their ability to earn a living.

I don't see how this is possible when self driving cars pretty much eliminate the observable behavior that leads LEO to pull drunk drivers over.

I've been pulled over in A CAB, in NOVA and had our IDs checked, even though we were passengers. You underestimate how hard you need to be governed.

I assume that this "CAB" was driven by a person and this person's driving was the reason you were pulled over. This doesn't make the point you think you are making.

Most shocking thing I saw in there is 82% less air bag deployment.
This tells me that fewer injuries isn’t a simple matter of having one less human being involved in every accident.
