Why does it always have to be money with you people? You act like the dollars are why we work. What about rewards like.. uh, other stuff.

So she didnt take the job.... and thats a big deal why? You never know she probably has better prospects on the horizon. Kids these days are actually well off. They arent desperate to immediately take the first job that comes their way. I get job offers WEEKLY. I'll do a few interviews here and there but I never feel like Im required to join a company just because I interviewed with them.

When you are just coming out of school, you have to start somewhere. The grass isn't always greener so it is best to take the first decent job that comes to you. If you don't like it, you can eventually seek employment elsewhere, but all you are looking for coming out of school, is work experience.

Maybe she just didn't have it in her to say "I actually accepted another job" because she knew that they brought her in for a 2nd interview and all so she just gave them a line of bullshite.

So, you’re mad because you wanted to hire her, but she didn’t want to work for you? It goes both ways. Maybe she didn’t like the vibe after meeting all of the partners, or maybe she has a better gig lined up. It’s pretty lame to be mad that someone didn’t accept your offer.

I’ll fill in. Just saying. Don’t know what the job is, but I’ll apply. Seriously.

Then there is this.

She might have interviewed with other companies, just like your company probably interviewed multiple candidates. She didn't want the job.. Move on.

I’ve noticed this. People are even turning down federal clerkships now, which never would have happened in my day.

He’s mad because when you accept the third date, there is an expectation that you are serious about it.

Sounds like you picked the wrong person for the job. Maybe you should learn how to evaluate job candidates better.

Does use of the terms “associate” and “firm” mean you are interviewing lawyers? There should be an endless supply of wifflle-waffling girls that talk like they are from the San Fernando Valley in that field.

And I don’t blame millennial lawyers for not wanting to do old economy Steve’s work for him for little to no chance of ownership.

That’s because 90% of employers only want the top 10%, so each of those people has 9 times as many jobs to choose from as someone in the bottom 90%. This is the result of HR idiocy that has ruined corporate hirings all over the country.

Watched two millennials try and mop up a big mess of spilled drinks at Walkons before the LSU Kentucky basketball game the other night. One had a squeegee and the other small towel. They were lost on what to do. Took them forever and was all up in everyone's way. A simple mop and bucket would have took care of the job in no time and completely out of everyone's way. Tools for the job seems to confuse them
