Today's millennial bashing session.

Been interviewing candidates for an associate position in my firm. Found a girl we liked, brought her back for a second with all the partners, and she said all the right things. We made an offer. She declined it after 3 days of "talking to her dad.". I won't get into her reasons, because they were nonsense, but it came down to (I think): change is really scary. She doesn't know what she wants or how to get there. She just knows how she feels right now, and it's different than how she felt a week ago. So we wasted a a whole lot of our time.

And I am out of bourbon. frick.
