Feel like every other post is one by a nurse saying they wish they had it as good as me being ordered to “Netflix and chill.” If I had the tech to fashion PPE for you I’m sure I’d do that. For now, I’m doing as I’m told, and being bored, trapped in isolation is not a crime last time I checked. Turns out, having to stay in the house for a while does kinda suck, and that’s ok.

A LOT of nurses are just plain dumb first gen college grads... and they’re women. What do you expect

Essential retail workers are worse

But they're at a much higher risk of getting sick.

Nope

I tip my cap to all medical staff, I know it's hard right now and I appreciate you. That being said, I don't need to hear about it every day and I don't need you to shame me because I don't work at a hospital.

I think that people are thinking this is to prevent any and everyone from GETTING this ... while it's really trying to help not overwhelm the medical system. Get sick now and need a vent, hopefully you have one. Get sick later and need a vent, hopefully you have one BUT the outcome still isn't guaranteed to be a positive one -- only that you can be seen about and given resources that you may need.

Since when did that change? They’ve always been at a much higher risk of getting sick

Attention seekers. I don't feel sorry for them. You signed up for the job. Just like firemen or policemen or teachers or the "oil field baws" when they start their shite about having to work so hard but its worth it so my wife and kids can go to Disney 7 times a year.

If they work in the GNO, they don't need it and if they're working with China cough patients, they're making more money for doing it.

And they're complaining when people actually use their business. I mean stay home. Collect a check.

Yes. Nurses are about to surpass military spouses looking for their TYFYS.

There is a doctor I know that just had a wedding in Mexico. She is a preach type and posts a good bit. But she kept this wedding somewhat under wraps on social media, not making a huge spectacle and she clearly asked everyone in attendance to not post because I know some of the guests and they post every even they attend.

Now, she is back at work and preaching again. Posted something the other day that basically said “all lives are precious and the economy can wait”. I don’t ever post on FB but am fighting the urge to call her out for having a wedding (albeit a small one with limited guests) in a foreign country.
