They signed up to work in the health care field. Virus outbreaks require health care workers. I’m very thankful they haven’t quit as it’s their right to do so. You’re correct, it not the military, but providing medical attention to people in need of it is exactly what the frick they signed up for.

They absolutely are for the shite they have to put up with. Just having to take total care of one 300lb lard-arse is a nightmare.

Can you provide more details on your experience? As a healthcare professional you may have not signed up for a pandemic but you damn sure chose a career where dealing with sick, contagious people is almost a certainty as some point. You are being intentionally obtuse to disagree with that point.

No one signed up for a pandemic with inadequate PPE. That's the stupidest fricking thing I've ever heard.
It is kind of like living in a city that is below sea level and subject to be hit by hurricanes.

If you get shamed by a nurse, you probably need to take a second look at your life.

Nice edit, pussy boy. And how would getting sick change my perspective on nurses? That’s dumb

Yup, you're a fricking idiot. ?
I work in an ICU and know first hand the issues with PPE.
And i work in a GNO ED and know "first hand" the lack of issues.
One of two things are happening with you right now. You need to live the lie that the whole PPE issue is much worse than it actually is and your a woman. Under the best of circumstances, if nurses aren't bitching, they're not talking.
Or..
You're a man and need to live the same lie because you're a fricking whiny pussy, who's spent too much goddamn time around women. As a result, you've taken on their Hyper-exaggerated "notice me" personality traits.
There are guys like you where I work. You complain as badly as the women you work with. If you worked in a predominately male setting, they'd beat that bitchy shite out of you.
I know you're whiny, arm flailing type. I'm fricking flanked by them. Go to work, shut the frick up and take care of your face mask.

80K seems low for a nurse with 15 years of experience.

No it’s not. You happen to be dumb with your comments. Don’t worry about my edits.

I haven't seen any nurses I know post anything shaming people who are following stay at home orders, but I've seen a few that went on rants about the videos of dumbasses having a second line block party in NOLA over the weekend
The Karens of the world and their constant "stay home" posts have gotten tiresome though.

Feel like every other post is one by a nurse saying they wish they had it as good as me being ordered to “Netflix and chill.” If I had the tech to fashion PPE for you I’m sure I’d do that. For now, I’m doing as I’m told, and being bored, trapped in isolation is not a crime last time I checked. Turns out, having to stay in the house for a while does kinda suck, and that’s ok.
Nope, but I am seeing a shite-ton of "give truckers everything for free" posts. Free food, no tolls, etc..

Of course we did. And it's normally not a big deal. It's an entirely different situation when you're being asked to treat someone without proper PPE.

Or maybe you're just fortunate and have more PPE.
And also, having worked ED myself before, I know how quick we'd be to get them out and up to the unit to minimize time with them. We don't get that option in the ICU. We're stuck with them for the duration.
The rest of your post is just pure drivel.

To get back to the original idea of the thread, I have not been shamed by nurses. However, I see that there is a post circulating around Baton Rouge with a woman who was clearly sick during a known pandemic and decided to continue to expose other people for several days. People called her out on it and it's been funny to see several of those posts.
