re: Those with social media, anyone else getting shamed by nurses?

Maybe not the insufficient PPE, but they definitely signed up to serve during a pandemic.
No they didn't. It's not the fricking military. How do you people get so damn asinine? Even assuming that idiotic logic is true, the PPE issue still trumps all.
You might try being grateful they're still doing their jobs. How would you feel if it was your family member they decided to quit on for their own safety? I imagine you'd have a real different tune then. If the situation doesn't change soon, I know people who are thinking about quitting over it. We'll see how people feel then when there's even less people to care for them.

Yes they fricking did. They signed up to take of sick people and they're well compensated for doing it.

with inadequate PPE
That's a gross media driven exaggeration. I can't speak to every part of the country but in the GNO, other than having to conserve a facemask, there's no shortage of PPE right now. And there's really no shortage of facemasks. Healthcare professionals are asked to conserve them as a "just in case" measure.
This whole "lack of PPE" lie needs to frickin' stop. GNO nurses aren't hurting for jackshit and that includes money.

No they signed up to be nurses. They knew this could happen.
Which is entirely different from what is actually happening. So what's your point?

You have no idea what you're talking about. Nursing pay sucks.

Yup, you're a fricking idiot.
I work in an ICU and know first hand the issues with PPE.

All of the nurses I have known in my life no longer speak to me because they were all one night stands

The nurses don't bother me. I'd probably be annoyed as hell if I was having to take care of people who willfully ignored social distancing, hand washing, etc. That's the only thing I've seen the ones in my feed bitch about and they're not wrong.
We have people in Kentucky having "Coronavirus Parties" that our Governor had to physically call out in a press conference. Our populace is full of mouthbreathers.

Maybe if you catch you’ll change your perspective. But I doubt it.

It's a scramble at the start of the shift to even find a N95. Once you find one, you still have to deal with the idiotic plan of re-using a one-time use mask for an entire shift. N95's were always one-time use until a month ago.
You need a face shield. Well frick, we don't have any. Here's a pair of goggles that don't really protect your face.
Negative pressure room? Well, they're full, so regular rooms are being used and they aren't sealed for shite.
The virus is aerosolized for 3 hours. Good luck not walking into any particles in the air with your inadequate PPE. It lives for 5 days on surfaces. You can wear booties, but you have to take them off at some point. Do others walk in there with booties and then track the particles back out?
It's a clusterfrick.

Nurses make decent money in most places. They aren't underpaid.
