With all due respect, Ryan Day destroyed Michigan’s football program

Ironic that in a woman-bashing thread touting men’s purportedly superior logical and pragmatic nature, someone would bring up an instance of a man ruining his life by thinking with his penis.

Well, implying that a single shot of Vitamin K could possibly have a significant risk of cancer or infertility is ludicrous.

the artificial diamonds are perfect

I was told that’s not the case. They can have the same impurities as natural diamonds.

I was told that experts can’t even tell the difference unless the artificial diamond is marked in some way or they have a very expensive machine (I can’t remember exactly- it’s been years since I purchased my wife’s lab diamond, which she loves).

It was a no brainer for me. Same quality diamond. Less expensive. More money for honeymoon. Wife was totally on board.

Up to 20% of a woman’s blood volume passes through the placenta every minute.

It’s not rocket science how they can bleed out quickly.

There is also a very fragile being hooked up to the system.

Essentially all risk no reward.

Having a birth at home isn't the only crazy decision here

FIFY

Home births are moronic. Playing with fire. shite can go bad very quickly and two lives are at stake. And there are no proven benefits to doing so.

Have a healthy distrust of the medical system but also give birth in a hospital where there are abundant resources to help you should an issue arise.

re: Is having kids worth it?

Only do it if you value having family, love, and meaning in your life and if you are willing to accept the risks and challenges of sacrifice, investment, hard work, adversity, and commitment in the pursuit of building happiness, a better world, and a better you.

If you value self and things and temporary comfort and such, it’s best you keep a condom on.

The decision will surely lead to a non-zero increase in Hepatitis B transmission. Likely minimal, except to the people it happens to.

But that’s public health policy.

The question is: Is it offset by a decrease in some measurable vaccine harm that is more common than transmission at this fringe?

I think it probably won’t accomplish much of anything.

A lot of the recommendations are geared toward convenience and accounting for the lowest common denominator, irresponsible patient.

Instead, it recommended that mothers who test negative for hepatitis could get their infants vaccinated after at least two months of age

I’m not sure what waiting two months accomplishes.

It will also be interesting to see if insurance covers it for people who wish to give it to their newborn.

Once your kid goes to daycare or school, you probably want them vaccinated. Sex isn’t the only way it spreads.

I think many a husband can relate to this.

And many a wife gets frustrated when their husband’s eyes glaze over 5 minutes into an unnecessary backstory.

Husband: “What time’s the party?”

Wife: “Well, it was supposed to be at 3, but it looks like it’s going to rain. It’s rained so much lately. So, at first it got moved up to 11, but that conflicted with too many people’s plans. Plus, that’s pushing nap time for a lot of the families with young kids. So, it got moved again to 5. Which was fine from a nap standpoint and people’s plans, but they are still not convinced the rain will have stopped by then. So I think they moved it indoors.”

Husband: “So, it’s at 5?”

Wife: “No. It’s at 3. Same time as before, just indoors.”
Looking for reasons not to like someone is a great way to end up alone, friendless, and single.

Essentially the same flawed argument as minimum wage proponents.

“Made in Merica” is akin to “living wage”.

Ah, yes. The government that broke healthcare will fix it with more government.

I can’t possibly see how a SINGLE payer would amplify problems already present due in part to increased centralization.
