This is always a good indicator of school quality (or free or reduced lunch % for public schools)

Also, while I think kindergarten graduations are dumb, that’s not a new thing. It’s been going on since I was a kid 30+ years ago.

I had jury duty this week, and there was a woman who showed up in pajamas. Another woman was wearing cut-off jean shorts.

did they dismiss them to go change?

Pajama woman would have welcomed being dismissed because she would not return, and the court wouldn’t do a damn thing about it.

I see more and more of these slobs wearing pajamas in public every single day,

I used to see it all the time when we sent our kids to public schools in an urban area. Parent showing up to school in their jammies. Mostly overweight moms. It made me wonder what's changed in the world. We then moved them to a suburban school district and everything magically changed back to what I remember it to be.

Central City Ministry of Toledo operates largely through the support of individual donors and corporate sponsors who bridge the gap between the State of Ohio's EdChoice Scholarship ($6166) and our actual tuition/cost-to-educate ($8200). Since we strive for 100% financial aid support for every one of our families, fundraising is an essential part of our mission. We also are graciously assisted by volunteers and community partners at our respective sites

where i live now is irrelevant, because as soon as this type of societal rot shows in this area. We will sell our house and move. Just did so 2 years ago.

Amazing, 99% of the time it’s the 13% crowd. Imagine being so brain dead that you get in a fight at a kindergarten graduation.

Can someone please explain this ignorance?

ETA: is it really that hard to act civilized? Weak, weak, weak. Always whining and never doing right.
