Scrowe- what you are confusing is tidal water vs land. You cannot own flowing water. Land doesn't move, tidal water does. I'm not going fish a duck pond during duck season. And neither are 99% of fisherman. But when hunting season is over, fishing a pond is fair game. I live close to the abo...

No way this should be as complicated as the state has allowed it to become. Fish have to have water to survive. If the water is tidal, navigation can be completed by a floating boat, and YOU HAVE TO ABIDE BY THE STATED LOUISIANA CREEL LIMIT, the water is public....
