Plenty bears in and around st mary parish. We used to see them a lot bow hunting around berwick. If one of our guys spread some corn, bears were on the way
Lived on a houseboat for 6 months while our house was being built. Absolutely loved it. We were in a marina with about a dozen other nice houseboat around us. Really made me wish we had built a really nice floating camp and stayed there

Id look for another Fortex on marketplace. Great trolling motors without all the extra gadgets to break/corroded. I just had to replace mine after I sheared a tree after it had just fallen across a curved canal

The Xpress will be the faster ride. I had an 18' xpress before getting my current x19 while bro in law has had 2 of the 188 rangers. The ranger rides better in a chop but the xpress had the better fishing layout. I absolutely love my x19 but a 115 is not enough motor for it.
