By not making enough of the exact watch you wanted to keep on the shelves?
Do you get pissed during the spring when the little Debbie Christmas trees aren’t in stock either?

It wasnt like that 10-15 years ago. I remember the salesman at Lee Michael's trying to sell me a Rolex Daytona(panda) in about 2012. I passed. Did better buying Visa that August.

This thread seems like you're coping and trying to convince yourself you made the right choice

My husband got to looking at the Rolexes on our last cruise. Prices were terrible. We went back to the room and ordered on Jomashop.

Most of the cruises are doing CPO now, which is terrible. Jomashop is going to be higher than Rolex retail pricing for 90% of models.

Just give me a handful of Luminox. I have a couple of Navy Seals and a couple of Sea Turtles. Rolex are beautiful watches though.

I’m pretty sure Coca Cola is the most recognizable brand in the world. Even the kid living in a hut in African knows the Coke brand.
But I know what you’re saying.

I think the customer is the dumb one

Well, now I am.

^i doubt there are “billions” in their “target market.”
Green Berets are part of their market.
Otherwise, I would think their market is the wealthy.

Two tone 36mm diamond bezel diamond dial Datejust is $26,350 which is close.

If you have a good relationship with your personal jeweler then it’s not very difficult getting a Rolex.

People still wear wrist watches? Who knew?

The OP didn’t go in to buy a factory set diamond piece. Max for a two tone men’s date just is probably $20k.

I'd rather have an Omega anyway. Rolex is the luxury watch brand for people that don't know anything about luxury watches. Absolutely iconic watches, but I just would not want to wear the same thing that everyone else has.

I’ve got four Rolexes sitting in a dresser drawer. Daughter asked me why.
I’ve got a clock on the cell phone, one in the car, one in almost every room in the house.
Only time I wore a watch was to have a count time timer, officiating football. Even then…..the entire stadium had clocks.
Why in the hell do I have to wear something nobody else thinks about? They are in my will, sell them after the funeral……go out to dinner to celebrate. Then told her, “Doc says I’ve easily got 10-15 years left. Good Luck!”
