Man, that's awful, and that is the hardest part of being a parent. That has always been my wife and I's biggest fear is that our daughter go before us especially at a young age. I'm praying for you my man. Stay strong and stay grounded with the Lord. There won't be any answers that you like. There are no words that will make you feel better, so I'll just say a prayer and hope that your family remain strong and get through this together.

As a parent of 3 children, now young adults, I cannot imagine.

Man, when I read the title, my first thought was how my seven year old stayed home from school today because we thought he might have the flu and has driven me nuts today. He just wants his dad to play with him and I’m really busy with work.
But, reading your post made me shed actual tears. I wouldn’t trade him annoying me for anything in the world. I’m so sorry for your loss.

Oh my God. I have a 3 year old. I can’t imagine what you’re feeling. I’m shook. That is horrible.
