I don't know enough about Kiffin's system, but I'm also guessing his system uses a different style of lineman than what Kelly and Co. recruited for.
Kiffin’s OL, players were rated lower than the Tigers OL. Kiffin’s offense has a lot of movement, misdirection, etc. His linemen don’t hold their blocks. Lots of usable speed. They get pass the line of scrimmage quickly.

My niece married into the Avery Family, got married on the Island. They had a Pasta Station! I hit the table, too many times.

What a brutal knee injury for Domanick Davis
I give you Wendell Davis!
“ His career effectively ended on October 10, 1993, in a game against the Philadelphia Eagles. While planting his feet to catch an underthrown deep ball from QB Jim Harbaugh, his cleats got stuck in the Astroturf at Veterans Stadium. The force of being pulled back to the ground was so severe that it completely severed the patella tendon in each of his knees. Doctors later found his kneecaps had been pushed all the way into his thighs. He spent several months in a wheelchair, with his legs encased in casts from thigh to ankle. After spending the entire 1994 season in rehab, he attempted a comeback with the Indianapolis Colts in 1995, but did not appear in a game.”

My oldest puts together all the toys for her kids, she enjoys. I was out of town for Christmas, she sent a few pictures of the Christmas gifts!
She’s helped me change oil in my truck, wired houses, helped in the construction of some of the houses I built. Very mechanically inclined.
Now days, runs a section of a engineering firm.

Take a short drive to Biloxi, too many options. I’ll be at the Beau Rivage during game time! I’m guessing my crew and I might hang out here!

At the time that was the coldest day on record in Baton Rouge. Not sure if it still stands.
It was warm where i was standing. We fought fire till daylight and beyond!
As I got older, I’d work most holidays, made good money. Often, vacations would be a week or so after July 4th. I hate crowds. Always took the family on a vacation during Mardi Gras week, always saw other La. folks.

Morning Folks! Merry Christmas!!!
In 1989 Christmas Eve, I was called out for a Ship docking at Exxon in Baton Rouge. I was to be there at noon and would work till 6 am the next morning (18 hours straight). I had my truck full of toys to assemble. After arriving at Exxon for noon, I was boarding the ship at around 1:30, once on the ship, I was talking with the Chief Mate on the ship. The explosion went off. I never got to assemble anything. Spent days out there.
Once the explosion hit, my wife and Father-In-Law went and bought the toys again. Days later I returned the unopened toys to the store.
We had a large metal table in our warehouse, we could assemble, fix, build, repair anything. At times during Christmas we may have 3-6 guys building and assembling toys. Santa’s Real Workshop!
When my first grandchild was born, I got a small unfinished rocker, painted it Purple and Gold!
I was one of the hardest workers out there. If you only knew.
