Ironically, if they stopped subsidizing single parent homes, they would help both the crime problem and the budget. But doing less is never on the government's menu.

So pay parent(s) to care and teach their children right from wrong and responsibility? Good luck with that. Nothing else can be done - plenty of people get free housing, free food, free medical care, free schooling, and free daycare - and that’s just government programs. There are jobs programs and classes, and plenty of opportunities to better oneself. No one should be without anything unless they are truly mentally ill or severely lazy.

Gravy: People in North br are killing each other because of lack of job opportunities
Last time I was unemployed, I took to the streets and killed a few people until the next job opportunity came.
