Womack still has a lot of upside and potential IMO.

He's going into the year four and we're still using words like upside and potential.

People just can't let recruiting rankings go.

For instance to monopolize Louisiana, ULL could be our AA school and would pay top dollar for recruiting skill players out of high school or a Junior College. These players would spend a year or so maturing/developing in their system. A traditional path would then have that player progress to Tulane, our AAA school. If the player proves themself at Tulane, they would then achieve a bigger payday and be promoted to play for LSU.

I think we have this arrangement with Missouri

ok but what about their THIRD best win???

Your better off saying sir I’m soft lil girly man who gets nervous when other men step up to say what s on their mind or express how they feel!

It's difficult to read people through anonymous message board posts, but a sure sign of femininity is overuse of exclamation points.

LSU finished the season 6-2, their only blemishes being a 16-0 loss against Arkansas and a 15-6 loss against Sewanee.

Still pissed about the refs in the Sewanee game.

I meant, we talk how bad he was, but he didn’t earn a 5 star rating out of high school, for no reason.

This was obvious, some just lack basic reading comprehension.

This Indiana team executes better than any time I ever seen. I'd be interested to see if anyone could put a line on this matchup?

Per Grok:

Q:Who would be favored and by how much in a hypothetical matchup between 2019 LSU and 2025 Indiana?

A:
In a hypothetical neutral-site matchup between the 2019 LSU Tigers (the Joe Burrow-led national champions) and the 2025 Indiana Hoosiers (the undefeated, Heisman-winning Fernando Mendoza-led squad), 2019 LSU would be the clear favorite by a significant margin—likely 10–17 points, with a projected score something like 45–31 or 48–34 in LSU’s favor.
This is based on a combination of advanced metrics (like SP+ and SRS), historical context, schedule quality, offensive firepower, and expert/media discussions around these two legendary seasons.

Why 2019 LSU Has the Edge

The 2019 LSU team is widely regarded as one of the greatest in college football history (often called the best of the CFP era or even all-time). Key stats:
• 15-0 record, outscoring opponents 726–328 (48.4 PPG scored, 21.9 allowed).
• Beat seven top-10 teams at kickoff (including Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Oklahoma, Clemson), with four finishing in the final AP top 10 and six winning 9+ games.
• Historic offense: 401.6 passing YPG (led by Burrow’s 5,671 yards/60 TDs), elite efficiency (No. 1 in success rate and marginal efficiency per SP+), and explosive play-making with future NFL stars like Ja’Marr Chase, Justin Jefferson, and Clyde Edwards-Helaire.
• SRS rating of ~25.8 (elite for the era), and they faced one of the toughest schedules ever.
• Playoff dominance: 63–28 over Oklahoma, 42–25 over Clemson.
This team revolutionized modern college offenses and peaked perfectly in big games.

I guess Tennessee is okay even though we play them next year.

You can't sack the opposing QB if the opponent doesn't have one

quote:

IF he is healthy, is he a really good back?

From what I've seen of him, yes. No back looks good with the piss poor blocking and scheme we saw at LSU this year.
There's not a team in college football or NfL history that can cover 2019 LSU's receiver corps.

I know the NFL part sounds like hyperbole, but look what Jefferson and Chase did as soon as they hit the league and Chase say out the season prior to being drafted and was rusty.

And Burrow almost won a super bowl his first year healthy behind a bad Oline.

With the dilution of talent we're seeing in this new era, it's really not comparable to the stacked teams of the recent past.
Problem is Lane is about 20 lbs heavier in this pic than irl

That was a vry good D and Kiffins Offense put up the most points of anyone this season. Just needed a stop and the D couldn't come through. The defense got manhandled all night.

Hell, the offense may have to run the wildcat all season.
