Combat was better than this. At least I could shoot back. I was just a pawn in this shite

I need to remember this next time it's our turn near Vermilion Bay and it's a 3/4 ... I don't want to be the one crying in a closet where all you can do is pray and wait. I hope I've learned from those here who braved staying. I also hope I remember those who decided to leave.

Lots of lessons.

Really? Really?

Tell me what happened then DWIGHT.

What is not true about "Isaac in 2012 sat on top of us and spun for 3 days and pushed water from Lake P and M in to Laplace."

Flooding is a big threat. Plus falling trees from the long duration wind event leaning on the trees with roots in the saturated ground like LSU football's 2011 offensive line.

Talked to multiple people in Hammond and Albany. They are getting blasted right now. Most and wildest wind they have both ever seen by far. Trees snapping and metal flying.
Tangi parish. Hang in next 4-5hours.

We are getting smoked here in Denham Springs. Seems like another 3-4 hours of shite before we are in the clear. Prayers to all in the path.

Yea I want to go back to earlier. This is definitely not fun. Especially with it pitch black and you can't see shite or figure out what that noise was.

Can somebody give me a run down on where we are? Been trying to get caught up on the latest after being out of touch for a few hours.

Awful storm. Slow as molasses and remained a hurricane after 12 hours over land. The eye closed up in the last hour. It’s finally weakening a bit. Around 6pm it slowed to a crawl and just hammered LaPlace with wind and everything east with rain.

Houma, Thibideaux, and Baton Rouge are past the hurricane. Hammond is next in its path.
