I won’t be staying ever again. I’m not even getting it as bad as a lot of other people and it’s stressing me out big time. This shite is spooky and scary as hell hearing the wind howling and rain and debris being flung against my windows and doors.

Agreed. It was pretty reasonable earlier but once the bands hit, it hasn’t let up. I pulled out some hunting spotlights to help with the darkness, and it’s definitely looking rough.

I see neighbors on nextdoor posting info for the cajun navy. Supposedly some of them are in the area.

Is this a correct statement DWIGHT or is this not true either?

The center of the storm is between Kilian and Port Vincent and is heading towards the town of Livingston. St Charles is out of the eye wall. Just some wrap around bands and gusty winds left.

Yes as of probably 9. Looks to be no eye wall anymore. Center of rotation is just NE of French settlement

I don't want to count chickens, but here in Mandeville I'm not getting the terrifying gusts I was an hour+ ago

I’m in old goodwood and all the big trees in the neighborhood plus the howling/whipping winds in the dark. I won’t stay again. God bless Houma and all those south of Baton Rouge for what they experienced today.
