Your ticket price within a class of seating should be based on the combined weight of yourself and your luggage. The fuel efficiency and loading limits are based off of WEIGHT. Step on the scale and be prepared to swipe that credit card for weight surcharges.

Not that I fly SW, but I support this. I'd rather SW eat the cost of an extra seat instead of someone's body squishing into my space.
